In this image, I was struck by the contrast of the blue of the ocean, the red of the village houses and the white of the snow. Add to that the subtle pinks of the sky at sunset and the darks fo the mountain allowed for a more subdued color palette. I went to Norway to shoot the Aurora Borealis however, "Hamnoy" became one of my most subtle and visually appealing shots.
