Oahu and Diamondhead are too conventional for me, however during one trip I learned a "supermoon" would be rising and that I could capture it rising over Diamondhead. Technically this was a difficult shot at night. If I used longer exposures the sailboat in the foreground would be blurry. Using a relatively fast shutter speed and post production noise reduction, the result is the best Waikiki shot I have ever made. The aqua sea was created by the shore lights.
